• Friction is a force that acts in the opposite
  direction to motion.
• It will cause moving objects to slow down
• It is dependant on the surface of the moving
  object and what is coming in contact with that
  surface.

Types of Friction

• Sliding friction when two solid surfaces are in
  contact and the amount of friction is high.
• Rolling friction when a round object rolls
  against a solid surface. Friction is less than
  sliding friction.
• Fluid friction When a liquid or gas reduces the
  amount of friction between solid surfaces.
