2248/96 ReviewWhat WFLSD Learned?
Doug Bahr writes For those FF's who only work
out on shift, there are the same amount of shifts
per month. Many of our FF's consistently come
in off duty to work out. This probably occurs
more frequently because they are more refreshed
during the 4 day and they don't have "station
burnout" caused by the feeling they are always at
the fire station.
2348/96 ReviewWhat WFLSD Learned?
Doug Bahr writes I believe that in general our
FF's are in better condition than in previous
years. In general, I do not think the 48/96
has had a detrimental effect on our program
and through the support of our Administration with
annual Medicals, we are more aware of our own
health issues.
