Why I Love the Word of God
Because Jesus believed it was powerful (Luke 4)
Because Jesus was equated with it (John 11-18
Rev 1913)
Because God created the world by His Word (Gen 1
Ps 336)
Because it changes lives (2 Timothy 316)
Because it is foundational to the Church and the
Christian life (Acts 242)
10
Because it is the only authoritative thing we
have (2 Timothy 316)
Because it keeps us from sin (Psalm 1199-11)
Because one of the great qualifications for being
approved by God is that we rightly use His Word
(2 Tim 215)
11
Psalm 1382 I will bow down toward your holy
temple and will praise your name for your love
and your faithfulness, for you have exalted above
all things your name and your word.
