The Science Behind Biotechnology

• Join instructor Dr. Rebecca Alexander for this
  content-based workshop for high school chemistry
  and biology teachers that will provide teachers
  with conceptual background and hands-on
  investigations related to the growing
  biotechnology field. This offering will tie
  biotechnology content with the N.C. Standard
  Course of Study and incorporate mathematical
  manipulations of data to make and verify
  predictions. It will also provide materials and
  supplies for use in high school classrooms,
  including a brand new spectrophotometer for each
  school sending a team of 3 teachers. A draft
  schedule is include with this material.
• Enrollment is limited! Sign up for this high
  school biology and chemistry teacher workshop by
  completing and returning the attached form by
  February 21st. Priority is given to teams of
  teachers from the same school.
