  • Methodology on calculation of Energy balance
  • Methodology on calculation of Industrial Gross
    Output at constant prices
  • Manual on Foreign trade statistics
  • Classification Methodology on calculation of
    Electricity and Heat statistics
  • ISIC 4.0
  • CPC 2.0

5
DATA SOURCE
  • Statistical information is divided in to Official
    and Administrative.
  • Official statistic
  • Monthly
  • Monthly survey on industrial production
  • Monthly survey on producers price
  • Annual
  • Survey on annual statistics of establishments
    engaged in Industrial sector
  • Balance of Electricity
  • Balance of Thermal energy (heating)
  • Balance of Coal

6
DATA SOURCE
  • Adminstrative report
  • Monthly
  • Monthly report on Foreign trade /Customs General
    Administration/
  • Number of registered establishments in
Electricity and Heat sector- about 250

electricity cable office, diesel centres are
responsible to report before 1st of February to
the governor's office of the aimag and capital
city and aggregated data should be forwarded to
    the NSO within 21st February.

Current status
Calculated indicators by Electricity and Heat
Statistics (every monthly)
  • Gross industrial output, by division, at current
    prices
  • Gross industrial output, by division, at
    constant prices of 2005
  • Sales of industrial products, by division, at
    current prices
  • Industrial labour productivity, by division, at
    current prices
  • Employment in industry, by divisions
  • Production of major commodities
  • Export, Import (Electricity)

15
Current status
Calculated indicators by Electricity Statistics
(every year)
  • Gross generation (Thermal energy centre, Diesel
    station, Hydroelectric
  • station, Generated station, Solar electric
    station, Other station)
  • Import
  • Distribution
  • Consumption to sectors (Industry, Construction,
    Transport,
  • Communication, Agriculture, Household and
    communal housing, Other sector)
  • Losses in transmission and distribution
  • Station internal use
  • Export
  • Electricity produced per capita, kW.h

16
Current status
  • Gross generation
  • Power and thermal station's internal use
  • Distributed to establishments and households
    (Industry, Construction,
  • Transport, Communication, Agriculture,
    Household and communal housing,
  • Other sector)
  • Losses in transmission and distribution

Calculated indicators by Heat Statistics (every
year)

PROBLEMATIC ISSUES
  • Some enterprises engage in more than one
activities but cannot report data for each
    activity because of consolidated financial
    statement for all activities.

ACTIVITies TO BE IMPLEMENTED FURTHER
  • To improve Electricity and Heat estimation
  • To estimate Energy balance by International
    recommendations
