- Step 1 - From Basic tab, Click the Eligibility

On the Eligibility screen Click either the
Initial Eligibility or Update Eligibility
button, whichever is enabled. Highlight the
Vets-VRE Program

Move the VETS - VRE Program over from the
Potential Non-System Calculated Eligibility to
the box on the right using the gtgt button
7Enrollment in VETS-VRE Program
Step 2 - Enrollment into the VRE
Program On Basic tab, click Career Center
button and check VETS-VRE Program Click on the
yellow folder icon to change the enrollment date
to match the one on the Referral Letter. This
will be important in the Federal Reporting.
8Enrollment in VETS-VRE Program
Click on the yellow folder next to the Apply
check box to open the Program History shown
below. The start date should be the VRE
enrollment date shown at the top of the Referral
Letter
9Providing Services for the VRE Veteran
Enter into MOSES the services you are providing
to the Veteran

Enter Employment Service of Obtained or Found
Employment and fill in the Employment Services

11Provide Employment Follow-up
- Follow-up must be done for 3 consecutive months
- after obtained / found employment
- Contact Veteran and make sure they are still
employed and the employment information is still
the same Pay Rate, Hours, Benefits, etc. - IMPORTANT Its a VRE requirement that the
employment be in the same field in which the
Veteran was trained

- Employment follow-up for 3 consecutive months
- Click on the Services - Employment tab
- Highlight the Employment Service line
- Click on the Follow Up button

On the top of the Follow-up screen - select a
Service Type of Follow-Up Service -1 Month, 2
Months, or 3 Months and a Service Result of
Employed or Not Employed
14VRE Exit Process
- 2 Step Exit Process
- Define an Outcome
- Retained Employment for 90 days
- Exclusionary
- Exit Veteran from the VRE Program
15Define an Exit Outcome - Employed
Step1 Exit Outcome (Employed or Discontinued)
- Employed Outcome will have follow-up services for
3 consecutive months after employment

- Step 1 Exit Outcome - Exclusionary
- Add a General Service Outcome/ Enhancements
- If services have been discontinued
Health/Medical, Deceased, Institutionalized,
Family Care, or Reservist Called to Active Duty
or outcome that best describes the situation - Enter a brief description about the outcome
