8The SLICE Program is a research-based
educational resource for home or school,
pioneering a new concept in comprehensive
assistive technology services for students with
reading disabilities.
9SLICE provides an electronic library of your
schools curriculum where students can see and
listen to textbooks and novels being read aloud.
A sophisticated database tracks how long, how
often and what students read. The system records
the last ten reading selections so students can
easily pick up where they left off. SLICE
supports and motivates students to practice
reading in context everyday.
