Nobel 808
  • One of the simplest plastic explosives was Nobel
    808, invented by Alfred Nobel and developed by
    the British company Nobel Chemicals Ltd. 808,
    as it was commonly referred to as, was used
    mainly in WWII. It was extensively used by the
    British Special Operations Executive for sabotage
    missions.

  • Was the simplest plastic explosive
  • had the appearance of green plasticine
  • Smelled like almonds
  • Used in HESH anti-tank shells
  • Captured SOE-supplied Nobel 808 was the explosive
    used in the failed 20 July plot assassination
    attempt on Adolf Hitler in 1944

C-4
  • C-4 is a plastic explosive used today by both
    military and terrorists. It needs some energy to
    detonate and since shooting wont work and it
    burns like wood, a blasting cap is normally used
    to set it off.

    out, and second part is when they all rush back
