RESUME WRITING TIPS
  • Design each resume to fit a particular job.
  • Be specific. Use numbers, dates, names. (Ex.
    Maintain a B average, missed only one day of
    school, etc.)
  • List your work experience with dates and employer
    contacts.
  • List volunteer and/or community work.
  • Include information about achievements and
    special abilities.
  • Make your resume readable.
  • Proofread. Proofread. Proofread.
  • Have someone else read your resume before typing
    the final copy.
