  • Gearbox ratio reduced
  • Added weight of counterbalance negates some
    benefits of lighter design
  • Higher speed means more noise, visual, and
    wildlife impacts

    be assembled on ground
  • Captures 10 less energy than two blade design
  • Ultimately provide no cost savings
