  • Activity 1 Fill in the DISC questionnaire and

  • D is a blend of positive and negative traits. On
    the positive side, highly Dominant individuals
    are independently-minded, motivated to succeed,
    and generally very effective at getting their own
    way.

  • On the negative side, highly Dominant individuals
    can also be hot-tempered and even aggressive
    under certain conditions.

  • Dominant individuals are not naturally trusting
    of others - they will seek to attain success on
    their own merits, without asking for or expecting
    help or support from those around them.

  • The communicative and socially confident style of
    those with high Influence help them to maintain
    relations of this kind. The socially active
    nature is often an important factor in bringing
    other less gregarious styles together.

  • However, high Influence people tend to rather
    impulsive and sometimes irrational.

    permit them to talk themselves out of any
    difficult situation resulting from their lack of

    listeners, with a real interest in the problems

    rules and defined codes of conduct to achieve
    their ends.

    detail, it is also common to find that Compliant
    styles have a relatively broad general knowledge,
    or specific knowledge or skills.
