• Jakob is not an adult, just an adolescent
• He is still developing his character
• He is not old enough to be treated as prosecutor
  proposes
• Jakob needs atmosphere of trust
• He has to be given the chance to open up
• Psychological supervision can lead him back on
  the right track
• He must be in focus of attention and needs
  individual support
• He should be excluded of his surrounding

• Make an example to determine others not to commit
  crimes

• Jakob has already committed several thefts ? no

Jakob is forced to finish school but after a
couple of months he attacks his classmates and
teachers with his fathers gun.

SEND JAKOB TO EDUCATIONAL CAMP
After two months he suffers a relapse, goes back
to his gang and starts commiting crimes again

SEND JAKOB TO JAIL
In jail, Jakob gets depressed, isolates himself
and, in the end he kills himself in his cell.
