  • 42 of teachers received six or more hours of
    basic-skill training, whereas only 29 received
    curriculum-integration training (Education Week,
    1999)
  • Only 44 of new teachers consider themselves
    well-prepared to use technology (National Center
    for Education Statistics, 2001)
  • Training on integrating technology into
    curriculum has a greater influence on teachers
    than training on basic technology skills
