Title: Accessible Science of Africa
1Accessible Science of Africa Unlocking the
potential of African Research
- The purpose of this presentation is to highlight
the important role that science communicators
have in sharing science knowledge within our
continent and the world. This refers both to the
communication that occurs between scientists and
other scientists and the communication between
scientists and society. The learnings are taken
from a number of science communication projects
in the fields of Radio Astronomy, TB in an HIV
context and new developments in Genetic ancestry
testing if youve actually read this far then
you have a higher capacity for long strings of
text than I do, but dont worry because I am
nearly on the next slide.
