• Which two tens is the number between
• Which ten is it nearest to

• Rules
• If it ends in numbers 1 to 4 round to the ten
  before
• If it ends in numbers 6 to 9, round to the ten
  after
• If it ends in 5 (which is half way between two
  tens) always round up to the higher ten

• Round off 134
• It is between 130 and 140
• It ends in 4, so it rounds down to 130
• (You only have to go back 4 to get to 130, but
  you would have to go forward 6 to get to 140)

• It ends in 7, so it rounds up to 360
• (You only have to go forward 3 to get to 360, but
