All About Pascals Triangle
  • Studied by Pascal although it had been described
    centuries earlier by Chinese mathematician
    Yanghui. Therefore, known as Yanghui triangle in
    China.
  • Used mostly in Algebra and Probability/Combinatori

  • Also contains Fibonacci sequence, triangular,
    polygonal, square numbers

How to Construct It
  • Pascals formula shows that each subsequent row
    is obtained by adding the two entries diagonally
    above it
  • Begin with the number 1, then start a new row
    using the formula
