Top MEMBER Concerns about using social media
  • Privacy
  • You may want to consider separating professional
    from personal profiles.
  • Think before you share (do not post anything you
wouldnt want to see on a billboard).
  • Check out Microsofts Safety Security Center at
    http//www.microsoft.com/security/default.aspx.
  • Accuracy of information
  • NCRA has a social media committee for its social
    network sites.
  • NCRA leadership and experienced cancer registrars
often chime in on posting with questionable
    information.
  • Trust, but verify information that you plan to
use by checking it with standard setters.
  • Ask for the source.
