2
Getting Started Tools/Options
3
Mirrored Pads The Typical Way!
Mirroring of Solid Features puts sketching plane
in the center of the object! (Can also be done
using Pad more and setting 2nd limit to equal
dimension)
4
Remember Double Click Icon to Hold it!
5
Adjust your Constraints Bad Red!!
6
Learn These Editing Tools!
7
2nd Pad Same Plane Mirrored to Smaller
Distance
8
Check the Prompt Line
9
When all else Fails Undo (with history!)
Also use the zoom feature It lets you get
exactly what you want!!!
10
Dimensioning Features Horizontal Orientation
Size of Hexagon
11
Constraints al Carte!
12
Add a Construction Line to Large Cylinder for
positioning constraint!
13
Zoom .. Zoom .. Zoom! Makes selections easier
14
Mirroring from End of the Last Boss
15
Finished Product!
  • Things to Remember
  • Relimitations Commands
  • Using Constraints (geometric)
  • Auto-Constraining
  • Zooming when appropriate
  • Undo History when in trouble

Looking at Tutorial 2.3
Looking at the sketch tools, during profiling,
you can make straight lines of known length and
direction by tabbing between fields in the
boxes above You can make arcs by clicking one of
the circle ICONS and dragging the end point or
tabbing to the radius entering the value and
dragging to an end point
17
Or maybe you can drag the endpoints around
(like me)
When I tried to follow her instructions using the
Sketch Tools Data Fields (which are geometrically
live) I GOT INTO TROUBLE! But it is easy if
you use the tab key to move between fields!
18
Tools toolbar was hidden when I started!
19
Right Clicking Sketch 2 Then Click Sketch2.object
20
Easy to repair and Back!
21
Elongated Hole was Easy Just Count the
Grid-squares!
If grid is set right --OR-- make the shape that
you want and constraint the distance between the
end arc centers!
22
Over Constrained In Height!
Magenta (like Red) is Bad Over Constained!
23
Clicking Reference in Definition Box
Iso-Constrains the Feature
Green is Good!
24
After Fiddling Around with Constraints!Pad it
Up to Surface Reverse Direction
