    signals based of the voltage reading from the
    photocell
  • Enabled/Disabled A/D interrupt
  • Allowed correct timing of the DCC signal
  • Mounted remaining two photocells in the webtrain
    layout
  • All four sensors are appropriate places
  • Need for a calibration program for sensors

Calibration Progam
  • Program will calibrate the voltage thresholds for
    each of the four sensors
  • Make use of keypad to set sensor and state
  • Another function to test sensors
  • Voltage thresholds will be based upon ambient
    lighting conditions

Calibration Program
  • How will the program work?
  • Hook up several train cars
  • Set the sensor
  • Roll car over sensor
  • Press button that corresponds to the state
  • Do this several times with different cars
  • Program will decided max/min limits
  • Add some offset to limits

  • My use of the keypad for the program
  • Numbers 1,2,3,4 for different sensors
  • Letters A,B,C for threshold states
  • Letter E for testing purposes
  • Letter F to finalize sensor values
