Yuken History

• 85 year heritage, began in auto repair in 1929,
  grew to machine tool builder by 1931.
• Introduced hydraulic honing machines in 1940,
  followed by development of hydraulic vane pumps
  and control valves. This led to todays
  hydraulic equipment market.
• Went public on the Tokyo Stock Exchange in 1962
  as a 2,000,000 company, moved corporate
  headquarters to Fujisawa and sales office to
  Tokyo.
• Established joint venture in 1969 as Taiwan
  Hydraulics Mfg. Co. Ltd.
• Yuken employs 800 and exceeds 20,000,000,000 yen
  in sales.
