  • 3) Maintain a consistent speed when passing

School Busses
  • When the red lights are flashing you may not pass
    a school bus and stop 25 feet away.
  • However if the red lights are not on you may pass
    at a speed of no more than 10 m.p.h.

  • Be aware that a valid basic drivers license or a
    motorcycle license will also allow you to operate
    a moped without penalty

  • Note that once you sign for your full license at
    18 you are automatically giving your consent to
    take a breath test following an arrest for a

Avoiding Traffic Signals

  • Age 17 Probationary License (minimum 1 year)

  • While driving, if you drift onto a dirt shoulder

  • If your breaks suddenly give out the first thing
    you must do is shift to a lower gear and pump the

GDL Program Supervising Driver
  • The following criteria must be met by the
    supervising driver.

    seat.

  • Driving at a speed of 35 mph or more on wet road
    surfaces can cause the tires to hydroplane and
