• Stories about their trip to the U.S.
• If your family comes from more than one country
  pick one or two

• Your report is based on your familys experiences
  in the US
• What country did you and/or your family come from
• Tell me a little about the countrys geography,
  climate, and physical features. Include any
  civil strife and turmoil it has faced or is
  facing.

• What are some of the customs, traditions and
  celebrations of your former country? Which
  traditions/customs/celebrations do you and your
  family observe?

• Explain the types of food or traditional dishes
  your former country? What is your favorite dish?
  Include a recipe and/or a story behind the dish.

• Any family struggles to get here? Did your father
  arrive first then bring your family? Historical
  persecution, fleeing civil strife, etc.

  survive? Did they have a rough job, did they

  feel about their immigration to the US and what
  they went through? You can include story of an
  ancestor.

• This will be a MULTICULTURAL GATHERING with
  food (e.c.) arts, crafts, heirlooms, dress,
  music, videos and any other artifacts, pictures,
  etc. you would like to share.
