Deferrals

• Deferrals are when the college defers payment for
  a student because they have a sponsor paying all
  or part of their charges.
• Types of sponsors include employers, unions or
  other organizations.
• Once Student Accounts is notified, deferred
  amounts are entered on to the students FA record
  and show as pending aid on their Account Summary.

State Army National Guard Deferral Notification

• Notified via a roster
• Award is tuition only
• Federal Awards (ex. Chap. 33) are applied before
  State National Guard
• TAP is applied to tuition before State National
  Guard

State Army National Guard

• Once the Federal Awards and TAP are applied, the
  State National Guard deferral is determined and
  applied to the students account
• After aid is in place, the student is responsible
  any remaining charges in order to maintain their
  enrollment

Federal Army National Guard Deferral Notification

• Notified via a voucher
• Deferral amount may or may not include fees
• Federal Army National Guard is applied first, may
  result in a reduction of TAP
• After aid is in place, the student is responsible
  any remaining charges in order to maintain their
  enrollment

Billing

• After day 29 of the term, we invoice
• State National Guard submit roster
• National Guard submit voucher
