Careers Interviews

• For every year 11 pupil.
• Interviews are usually arranged in morning
  registration.
• You are allowed to attend during lesson time.
• You can request an interview see Miss Clough.
• Available to pupils on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
• I will be available on Year 11 Parents Evening.

Why have a Careers Interview?

• Help you decide what to do and make a plan.
• Help you consider job / subject options.
• Check there are no barriers.
• Help you feel more confident.
• Know how / when to apply for courses or
  apprenticeships.
• Know how to find out more.

How to achieve your career aims?

• GCSES Achieve the best you can.
• Be realistic in what you apply for.
• Attendance Employers, Sixth Forms Colleges
  look for good attendance.
• Apply Early Dont be at the back of the queue.
• Experience Get involved in school activities,
  voluntary work.
• Have a plan And a back-up plan just in case!
