  • Psalm 814 (NIV)
  • 1Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all
the earth! You have set your glory in the
    heavens.
  • 2Through the praise of children and infants you
have established a stronghold against your
enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger.

25
  • 3When I consider your heavens, the work of your
fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have
    set in place,
  • 4what is mankind that you are mindful of them,
human beings that you care for them?

26
  • Psalm 834 (The Message)
  • 3I look up at your macro-skies, dark and
enormous, your hand-made sky-jewelry, Moon and
    stars mounted in their settings.
  • 4Then I look at my micro-self and wonder, Why do
you bother with us? Why take a second look our
    way?

27
  • Genesis 11 (NLT)
  • 1In the beginning God created the heavens and the
    earth.

28
  • Isaiah 401226 (NLT)
  • 12Who else has held the oceans in his hand? Who
has measured off the heavens with his fingers?
Who else knows the weight of the earth or has
weighed the mountains and hills on a scale?
  • 13Who is able to advise the Spirit of the Lord?
Who knows enough to give him advice or teach him?

29
  • 14Has the Lord ever needed anyones advice? Does
he need instruction about what is good? Did
someone teach him what is right or show him the
    path of justice?
  • 15No, for all the nations of the world are but a
drop in the bucket. They are nothing more than
dust on the scales. He picks up the whole earth
as though it were a grain of sand.

30
  • 22God sits above the circle of the earth. The
people below seem like grasshoppers to him! He
spreads out the heavens like a curtain and makes
    his tent from them.
  • 23He judges the great people of the world and
    brings them all to nothing.
  • 24They hardly get started, barely taking root,
when he blows on them and they wither. The wind
    carries them off like chaff.

31
  • 25To whom will you compare me? Who is my equal?
    asks the Holy One.
  • 26Look up into the heavens. Who created all the
stars? He brings them out like an army, one after
another, calling each by its name. Because of his
great power and incomparable strength, not a
    single one is missing.

32
  • Psalm 331315 (NLT)
  • 13The Lord looks down from heaven and sees the
    whole human race.
  • 14From his throne he observes all who live on the
    earth.
  • 15He made their hearts, so he understands
    everything they do.

33
  • John 115 (NLT)
  • 1In the beginning the Word already existed. The
Word was with God, and the Word was God.
  • 2He existed in the beginning with God.
  • 3God created everything through him, and nothing
    was created except through him.

34
  • 4The Word gave life to everything that was
created, and his life brought light to everyone.
  • 5The light shines in the darkness, and the
    darkness can never extinguish it.

35
  • John 11014 (NLT)
  • 10He came into the very world he created, but the
    world didnt recognize him.
  • 11He came to his own people, and even they
    rejected him.
  • 12But to all who believed him and accepted him,
he gave the right to become children of God.

36
  • 13They are rebornnot with a physical birth
resulting from human passion or plan, but a birth
    that comes from God.
  • 14So the Word became human and made his home
among us. He was full of unfailing love and
faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the
glory of the Fathers one and only Son.

37
  • 1 John 117 (NLT)
  • 1We proclaim to you the one who existed from the
beginning, whom we have heard and seen. We saw
him with our own eyes and touched him with our
own hands. He is the Word of life.

38
  • 2This one who is life itself was revealed to us,
and we have seen him. And now we testify and
proclaim to you that he is the one who is eternal
life. He was with the Father, and then he was
    revealed to us.

  • Down from His glory
  • William Booth-Clibborn - 1921

40
  • Down from His glory,
  • Ever living story,
  • My God and Savior came,
  • And Jesus was His name.
  • Born in a manger,
  • To His own a stranger,
  • A Man of sorrows, tears and agony.

41
  • O how I love Him!
  • How I adore Him!
  • My breath, my sunshine, my all in all!
  • The great Creator became my Savior,
  • And all Gods fullness dwelleth in Him.
