Summary

• Our plans for Oakbrook is that we will turn it
  into luxury apartments.
• Our group have decided to do this because
  Fullwood is nearly next to the University Of
  Sheffield so many students will be willing to buy
  one of our apartments. Also if we turned Oakbrook
  into a mansion then we would have trouble selling
  because the queen would just be able to afford
  it!

Background

• Oakbrook House was built in 1860 as Mark Firth
  (famous son of the city of Sheffield, steel
  manufacturer.) Oakbrook House is surrounded by
  some amazing features such as the woodland (Smith
  wood), Pond and lots of different wild life,
  Oakbrook is also covered with many carved stone
  features. There are approximately 80 rooms in
  Oakbrook. Due to Oakbrook been a listed building
  we cannot do any major work to the outside

Market Analysis

• We went to Broomhill to collect data on what
  people wanted oakbrook house to be like. The
  graphs on the next few slides are what
  information we collected.

This graph shows us that there are a good range
of amenities in the local area. This will help us
to sell our luxury apartments as people will want
good local amenities.

In Broomhill there are a good range of
restaurants. This will also help us to sell our
luxury apartments as we can sell the lifestyle of
living in Broomhill. There are a lot of fast
food restaurants and pubs. These are desirable to
young professionals. This is who we are marketing
our property at.

There are a different types of transport in
Fulwood and there is a excellent road links and
there are a lot of bus stops to go in to town.

Youre Solution To Their Problems

• When we turn Oakbrook into Luxury apartments we
  hope to leave the most of the grounds as they are
  (The woodland) so we dont upset the wildlife the
  only thing we might do is drain the pond and make
  it more attractive to look at, we may even extend
  it and make it a little rowing lake. In the house
  we hope to make eleven apartments with a modern
  decoration styles and also open plan and separate
  rooms

Aims And Objectives

• Our group have chosen this idea because Fullwood
  is near the city centre so people who work near
  buy may want to buy/rent one, Oakbrook is also
  next to the University so students may want to
  rent one, And also there is the Children's
  hospital nearby so doctors or nurses may wish to
  buy/rent one! We all think this is the best idea
  because Fullwood is almost in the town centre so
  there is a good selling market and also eleven
  Apartments we think will make far more than one
  House.
