- Not passion
- Love denies itself for the good of the one loved.
- Test of love how much are we willing to
sacrifice for the good of the one loved
3For this is the love of God, that we keep His
commandments. And His commandments are not
burdensome. 1 John 53
Love toward God is an act of sacrificing my will
to do HIS will.
41 Corinthians 131
Though I speak with the tongues of men and of
angels, but have not love, I have become sounding
brass or a clanging cymbal.
