Analog voice(FXS)
  • Does not require dialing to connect calls
  • When a telephone goes off-hook, the remote
    telephone rings
  • With EM, when the M lead goes off-hook, the
remote E lead (or remote DS0) goes off-hook
  • Supports supplemental call signaling such as
    hookflash
  • Also called hotline or "bat-phone
  • Integrated bridge/router ensures QoS by rate

How Does TDMoIP Work?
Ethernet/IP Packets
  • The synchronous bit stream is segmented
  • Headers are added to each segment to form the
    packet
  • Packets are forwarded to destination over the PSN
    network
  • At destination, the original bit stream is
    reconstructed by removing headers, concatenating
    frames and regenerating the timing

  • County 911 Command Center Relies on RAD Solution
to Transport 4-Wire Audio over Wireless Ethernet
  • Crowded UHF Airwaves Renders County's Original
    System Unreliable

We started deploying this system more than 6
months ago and, I must say, it has performed
exceptionally well. We can't figure out how we
got along without it! Bob Moore, Operations
Manager for 911 Services Gibson County, TN
