- You must use the correct fingers on all the keys
and be able to type by touch (without looking) to
pass keyboarding. - You DO NOT need to type fast or be concerned with
a few errors when technique is being evaluated. - You DO need to type with acceptable technique on
all areas indicated on the Keyboarding Technique
form.

- You will take 5-minute timed writings throughout
the course as they appear in the lessons you
complete. - You need 3 best timed writings to qualify within
a designated grade category. - The best 3 timed writings will be part of your
final grade.
