2Why Cambodia?During the Khmer Rouge era,
Cambodia 's educational system was destroyed and
educated people were targeted for death. But now
after years of civil war, peace and stability
have returned to this country, allowing
Cambodians to rebuild their society. But the
country cannot prosper, unless and until there is
a good educational foundation. Sambonn Lek

11The key to success is preparation. Your goals
will not work as planned for. Every corner of
life will contain obstacles to overcome. However,
building a foundation with a framework for
sustainability can lead to your destination
12In order to be efficient global leader, you must
be able to work as a team. Working as a team and
using the knowledge and resources of others
besides your own knowledge contributes to a more
successful outlook on future endeavors. While I
was thinking like a global leader I had a better
understanding of dealing with project obstacles.
Throughout the semester, we had several set-backs
that prolonged our future goals. However, these
set-backs were one of several ways I became a
stronger leader. I learned to encourage myself
and my team members as well.
13- Thinking Globally
- This project opened my eyes to events in other
parts of the world. - Many people live in their own personal bubble and
never realize what goes on in distant parts of
the world. - A good 21st Century leader should be globally
aware, allowing them to make informed decisions. - Sharing Leadership
- Had no group leader
- Today, even at the highest levels leadership is
shared in most cases
14Leadership
If your actions inspire others to dream more,
learn more, do more and become more, you are a
leader. -John Quincy Adams
