How to Install Java Development Kit at Home

• Go to the following site
• http//java.sun.com/javase/downloads/widget/jdk6.j
  sp
• If you have window at home, from the platform
  list box select Windows option and then click
  on Continue button

• You will be directed to the page shown below
• Click on Skip this Step and you will be
  directed to the next page

• Click on jdk-6u17-windows-i586.exe to start
  downloading the Java Development Kit.

• The following screen shows up. Click the save
  button to save this application in your desktop
  or anywhere you like in your home computer.
• Depending on the speed of your computer, it may
  take about 15 to 30 minutes to download this
  application.

• Before installing jdk-6u17-windows-i586.exe,
  install Blue jay application.
• When blue Jay is successfully installed, double
  click on jdk-6u17-windows-i586.exe to install the
  Java development Kit.
• Accept the terms and the conditions

• You will be directed to the following screen.
• Click on Next button

• Installation should start at this point.
• Just wait until this step is complete and you are
  directed to the following page
• Click finish button to complete the work
