• is divided into two major parts the somatic
  nervous system and the autonomic nervous system
• Somatic Nervous system sends sensory information
  to the skeletal muscle
• The autonomic nervous system controls smooth
  muscle
• "fight" or take "flight" (run away)

  three special coverings called the meninges
