Title: Company History
1Company History
- MjC was founded as a Neckwear and Mens boxer
company in 1993. As the business grew in the
1990s, the Company expanded into Mens and Kids
sleepwear and loungewear. With the arrival of the
new millennium, the Company launched the Womens
and Juniors sleepwear and daywear businesses
which currently represent the largest business
segment. MjC has grown into a global enterprise
with efficient teams located throughout the US,
Europe, and in China. -
2Corporate Profile
In 2011, Vanessa Nied and her team launched what
has become a highly successful Ladies intimate
apparel division. Vanessa came from a family
owned intimate apparel company with extensive
knowledge in production, trends, and sales. MjC
Intimates is currently the fastest growing
segment of the MjC enterprise. In our intimates
division, we take pride in the timely shipping of
a trend right, quality product at a competitive
price. We create tailored collections based on
the consumer segment we are targeting, and in
just three years have successfully built
substantial branded and private label businesses.
Our brands can be found in all tiers of
distribution including department, mid-tier,
specialty, and mass chains. MjC strives to work
seamlessly with many WRAP approved factories
across Asia. We have a Hong Kong-based
experienced sourcing team with far-reaching
relationships in all of Asia, and we recently
opened up new distribution into Europe with
medium to large sized department store chains.
MjC Intimates is looking forward to an exciting
and successful 2015 and beyond!
