Draw Interior Walls to Create Rooms

Creating Interior Walls

• Click on the Floor Tab, and then click on the
  Interior Wall icon.

Creating the Kitchen

• The kitchen dimensions will be 8 ft. x 11 ½ ft.
• Starting from the right exterior wall, at the
  top, count left 8 feet 8 squares.
• Click and drag down until you have a wall 11 ½
  feet long. 116

The Bathroom
Next, draw in the bathroom. The final dimensions
of this room will be 79 X 116.

•  
• From the left kitchen wall, count left 8 ft.
  Click and drag a vertical line that is 11 ½ ft.
  long.
• On the wall you just created, count down 8 ft.
  from the top. Click and drag right a horizontal
  line that measures 7 ft. 9 in. This wall should
  connect with the left kitchen wall.

The Bedroom

•  
• Count down 12 feet from the top exterior wall.
• Draw a horizontal line that goes from the left
  exterior wall to the right exterior wall.

Label the Rooms

•  
• Click on the room and an Edit Text window will
  appear. Label each room according to the diagram.
• Note If you need to change the text style
  select the Font button and select a style that is
  easy to read.

• Click on the Text Tool located on the
  left-side Standard toolbar.
