Do your best to present yourself to God as one
approved, a worker who does not need to be
ashamed and who correctly handles the word of
truth.- 2 Timothy 215
3
To Correctly Handle The Word of God We Will

  • Learn what it means.
  • Apply it to our lives.

4

    word about Christ.

9

  • Read Consistently
  • Read Thoroughly
  • Read with Intention

10
Romans 121-5 (ESV)
  • I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the
mercies of God, to present your bodies as a
living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God,
which is your spiritual worship. 2 Do not be
conformed to this world, but be transformed by
the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may
discern what is the will of God, what is good and
    acceptable and perfect.

11
Romans 121-5 (ESV)
  • 3 For by the grace given to me I say to everyone
among you not to think of himself more highly
than he ought to think, but to think with sober
judgment, each according to the measure of faith
that God has assigned. 4 For as in one body we
have many members, and the members do not all
have the same function, 5 so we, though many, are
one body in Christ, and individually members one
    of another.

12
Romans 121-5 (NLT)
  • And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with
you to give your bodies to God because of all he
has done for you. Let them be a living and holy
sacrificethe kind he will find acceptable. This
is truly the way to worship him. 2 Dont copy the
behavior and customs of this world, but let God
transform you into a new person by changing the
way you think. Then you will learn to know Gods
will for you, which is good and pleasing and
    perfect.

13
Romans 121-5 (NLT)
  • 3 Because of the privilege and authority God has
given me, I give each of you this warning Dont
think you are better than you really are. Be
honest in your evaluation of yourselves,
measuring yourselves by the faith God has given
us. 4 Just as our bodies have many parts and each
part has a special function, 5 so it is with
Christs body. We are many parts of one body, and
we all belong to each other.

14
Romans 121-5 (GWT)
  • Brothers and sisters, in view of all we have
just shared about Gods compassion, I encourage
you to offer your bodies as living sacrifices,
dedicated to God and pleasing to him. This kind
of worship is appropriate for you. 2 Dont become
like the people of this world. Instead, change
the way you think. Then you will always be able
to determine what God really wantswhat is good,
    pleasing, and perfect.

15
Romans 121-5 (GWT)
  • 3 Because of the kindness that God has shown me,
I ask you not to think of yourselves more highly
than you should. Instead, your thoughts should
lead you to use good judgment based on what God
has given each of you as believers. 4 Our bodies
have many parts, but these parts dont all do the
same thing. 5 In the same way, even though we are
many individuals, Christ makes us one body and
individuals who are connected to each other.
