    Passing
  • Passing is FASTER than skating!
  • Get the puck to the prime scoring area - The
    Slot!
  • Most goals are scored from the slot
  • Attack from the outside with speed through the
    Scoring Door
  • We have more options when attacking from an angle
  • Two players driving to the net both through the
    Scoring Door
  • Driving towards the backside post through the
Scoring Door aligns you with an open net
  • 3rd forward in zone creates the TRIANGLE
    formation
  • Creates space and options
  • Shots must hit the net!
  • Shots that miss the net result in turn-overs
  • Rebounds give us 2 shots on net versus 1
  • Rebounds
  • More goals are scored on rebounds than direct
    shots

  • Scoring Door The space between the face-off dot
    and the top of circle
  • Attacking through the Scoring Door puts you at
the best angle to shoot on the goalie.
  • Attacking through the Scoring Door forces the
goalie to one side of the net, leaving the
    backside open.
  • Attacking through the Scoring Door gives
    rebounds to the back side
  • Attacking through the Scoring Door - 2nd guy
to the net aligns you with the rebound and the
    Open part of the net.
