- Balance positive and negative
- Be honest about criticisms
- but also be constructive
- Dont use the word but after a positive
comment!
- Try not to get defensive
- Ask questions to clarify- it is a great
opportunity to learn - If you believe the feedback is valid decide how
to respond- and act on it!

- One person is the person giving feedback, one
person is receiving the feedback and the third
person observes - Practice giving and receiving the feedback
according to the scenarios on the handout - Discuss
- How did the feedback giver feel?
- How did the feedback receiver feel?
- Was the feedback constructive?
