There are five main different types of
empowerment economic, political, societal,
cultural and national empowerment.
Cultural Empowerment Things to do with language, food, clothing, religion, customs and history
Political empowerment Things to do with government, voting and politics
National Empowerment Things to do with decision making
Societal Empowerment Things to do with the community, other people, protesting or complaining when one section of society is treated unfairly
Economic Empowerment Things to do with jobs, money, needs and wants
