semester, we got to enjoy going out to eat at one
of our favorite restaurants! ?

16Student Feedback
- What do you like most about the team challenge
program? - It makes you feel like you are not alone in
this. It is always boring to go to a job in which
you work alone or there is no sense of community.
Every time I see the name tags together in a
group, its just a good feeling to know others
are with you in this. - I like how your team motivates you to do better,
take shifts, pumps you up, and gives you
confidence. - I like how it makes everyone work harder. No one
wants to be the one to let their team down. - The team challenge program offers new hires an
immediate sense of belonging that would have
otherwise come over a longer period of time.
17Creating an IdentityPutting a name to a face
18Creating a Team Identity
19- 3 Parts
- Employee Development Program (Individual-Based)
- Staff Incentive Program (Team-Based)
- Employee Fitness Program
- All three are tied together
- The programs use a point system
20Individual Points
21Battle of the GuardsStaff Incentive Program
- Individuals will earn points for themselves and
team - Any incentive points (kudos) earned first apply
to their individual score if less than zero. - Only when their individual points total is zero,
can an employee earn points for their team
22Ways to Earn Points (Kudos Form)
23Team Points
24What do we do with the points?
- Top points earners for a pay period receive an
item (Promo Items and Conference Goodies such as
t-shirts, water bottles, candy, etc.) - Top points earner for the year will receive UCLA
gear (Duffle bag, T-Shirt, Hat, etc.) - Top Team at end of year All team members will
receive 40 Gift Card or 40 added to their Bruin
Card for use on anything that accepts Bruin Card
Easy Pay.
