Basic Rules of the Game
  • Everyone begins on start
  • You cant go back past start
  • At the beginning of each turn, every player rolls
    the dice
  • Follow the instructions on the slide
  • Record notes on proper interview techniques based
    on each turn
  • Winners who reach the Youre Hired space (or
    progress the furthest) will receive 2 bonus
    participation points

Before the Interview
  • If you rolled a
  • 1 Move 2 spaces. You are well prepared
  • 2 or 3 Move 1 space. You are ready, but stayed
    up late watch reruns of Survivor Cleveland
  • 4 or 5 or 6 Stay where you are because you
    didnt prepare at all and you have 10 minutes to
    make it downtown

  • Research the company
  • Practice interviewing with a friend
  • Prepare 3 questions to ask about the job/company
  • Make sure your clothes are clean and appropriate
  • Know where you are going
