10Advice from the Counselor
- This is high school, not your old middle school.
Understand quickly that you must adapt to a new
and tougher system. - Extra Credit does not existgrades are based on
the work you do every day in class - Late Work policies between teachers vary, some
take late work with penalties and some take NO
late work at allKNOW the policies of your
teachers and expect that they will hold you to
them - In order to be competitive for college
acceptance, you must consistently challenge
yourself for four years of high school. - Attendance is vital to your success.
11Advice from Current Students
- DONT PROCRASTINATE!!!!
- ASK FOR HELP
- DO ALL YOUR WORK
