ANALYSIS OF THE RESPONSES
  • Students from the CS background, who do not have
a lot of exposure to art/design often tend to
think in the most obvious ways
  • Students from the Math background tend to relate
their answers to shapes, numbers, etc
  • Students from the Art / Design / Architecture
background think intuitively and hold better
    imagination and high creativity levels.
  •
         SPRING 2010

9
CREATIVITY ANALYSIS - DRAWBACKS
  • May not be a foolproof procedure
  • Analysis is limited to the questions and answers
    provided in the survey
  • Sample space may be inadequate
  • SPRING 2010

10
CREATIVITY ANALYSIS - CONCLUSION
  • Creativity is most certainly shaped by the
academic profession / background of an individual
  • Since a person spends almost 12 hours of the day
over his work life (profession), his thought
process is directed towards his work life
  • This typically constraints the thoughts,
    imagination and creativity in turn
