• CPR and the AED
• Interrupt CPR as little as possible and for as
  short a period of time as possible
• Do not touch the AED when analyzing or shock is
  being delivered

• Contraindications
• 1 yr. of age or less
• Traumatic arrest
• spend as little time on scene as possible
• Soaking wet patient
• If pt. is touching anything metal while anyone
  else is touching them

• No one should be touch anything including the BVM

• IM CLEAR, YOUR CLEAR, WERE ALL CLEAR
