A Letter
  • Dear Friends,
  • Thank you for taking the time to view this
presentation and your interest in the Heart of
America Quilt. We began as a means to help
children feel a sense of helpfulness and healing
surrounding the events of 9/11. On that journey
we found that it was our nation and our world,
young and old alike that need to feel that sense
of unity. We hope this fills you with a sense of
pride in our country. While the events of 9/11
brought our country to its knees in sorrow, it
sent us soaring in patriotism. We stand united as
families, communities, a nation as a whole to
unite with other countries for the betterment of
    the world.
  • May you find joy in the unity we are creating
    together.
  • Susan Morissette, President
