Title: EAGLES LAIR

1
EAGLES LAIR I sure did enjoy being back in the
Lounge for 6/7 weeks.  Got to see a lot of old
friends I hadn't seen for awhile.  We have a lot
of good people in our Post.  Although I have
retired again, Bill and Julia will be keeping the
Lounge afloat until they find a good reliable
manager that takes a vested interest in our
Lounge/Post.  I believe business did increase a
bit, maybe due to all the until gone specials we
have or the new free juke box nights.  Anyway, we
are continuing our until gone special, check the
postings around the lounge for specifics items on
sale.  We got a buy on a few cases of 16 oz
Miller Lite aluminum bottles, still the same
price as our 12 oz bottles/cans--that's a buck
and 75 cents cheap. If the 16 ozers go over good
maybe you can talk the Budweiser man (Bill) into
picking up a few more cases. We are continuing
with our free juke box nights, June sked is as
followsMemorial Day from 1-6 pmFish Fry
Sunday (6th)  from 1-6 pmNon-lounge Bingo
Saturdays (12th and 26th) from 5-10 pmChill
Friday (25th) from 6-11 pmDon't forget our 40/8
and Unit Lounge Bingo, our shuffle board,
cribbage, and pool night get together either.
Check the monthly calendar for specific dates and
times.  If you have any ideas for improving our
Lounge bring them forward and we will bounce all
good suggestions around.  See you all in October
and lets all help to make our Post/Lounge number
one (1) again.  Also, remember, June is election
of new officers month.  Check out the candidate
and vote in the ones that work for the
Post/Lounge, not someone that thinks their only
duties is to attend two meetings a month. Being a
Post Officer, like taking on the job of Lounge
Manager is a big commitment in my eyes Terry
