- MTEL will automatically produce distribution
splits based on Retail Distribution Code (RDC)
data - DN TANs Mgrs. must ensure transportation is in
place to generate retail placards

- Area DN Networks will create update dispatch
records in Natl Air Surface System (NASS) - Align routing with operating plan parameters
- Scheme will drive MTEL placard generation
- Establish routings from origin to the final
destination - Consistent with National Distribution Label List

- Origins must ensure placards are placed on MTE
before dispatch - MTEL is an on-demand system
- Print only what you need for each day
- Print entire set weekly ONLY as contingency
- Do not use recycled placards
- Use correct mail class and shape
- HAZMAT placard option
- Ensure placard barcode area is clear to enable
