• Gender Roles- behaviors and attitudes that are
  socially accepted as either masculine or feminine
• It IS possible to have an opposite sex friend w/o
  romantic interest just very difficult.

• Sometimes youre the easiest thing to yell at
  even if theyre not really mad at you. It just
  happens

Cliques and Gangs

• Clique- a narrow and exclusive group of people w/
  similar backgrounds or interests. (not very nice
  at times)
• Peer Pressure- a need to conform to the
  expectations of friends.
• Gangs- much like cliques
• Prejudices- negative feelings about certain
  groups of people that are based on stereotypes.
• Stereotypes are an exaggerated or over
  generalized belief about an entire group
  (religious, gender, ethnicity, other)
