Emergency Response Actions

• When a hazardous chemical spill, leak or fire is
  noticed by anyone and deemed serious by the
  faculty in charge
• Evacuate the floor or building
• Can be done by the fire alarm
• Red phones are available
• Call in the spill or event providing
• Your name
• Specific location of the spill
• Name of the substance spilled
• Quantity spilled

Emergency Response Actions

• Do not return to the scene once clear of the
  building.
• Wait outdoors for UPD, Facilities, and OFD if
  appropriate.
• OFD/UPD may contact county or state agencies for
  additional resources.

• Containment resources are available as follows
• Heating Plant (spill control booms)
• Grounds/MOC (speedy dry)
• Physical Science (mercury vacuum)
• SDS sheets are available on line

  Parkway to West St.
• Secondary route is Bugbee Road to East St.
