response, build total IoT and effective

new form of city development. All of above
mentioned will greatly solve the city problems of
resources and environment.

Government put construction of smart city as a

Wuhan public tenders to global for smart city top
layer design, and adopt the method of "top layer
design, application landing, requirements
oriented, demonstration boost, E-government

Wuhan smart city construction, insists
sustainability strategy, follows city ecological
system concept, implements the target of Wuhan
City general planning (2010-2020), optimizes city

developed, industry structure optimized, and

planning and top design of smart city.
2014-2015, Information basis facilities which
support Wuhan smart city construction is
improving, and has already supported full IoT in
the city effectively a large number of
applications has been built which orient to
social integrated management and service, land
planning, municipal based facilities, public
security, traffic, medical, education, culture,
community, urban management, water works,
environment, logistics and food security. The
ability of data integration, information sharing
and business collaborative level has been
significantly enhanced. By 2020, Wuhan smart city
will have completed. Wuhan will create precise
view of the city, quick event awareness, precise
grid community, accurate city operation and
controlling, integrated city public service
capabilities and sophisticated smart city
industry innovation.
