We only need accents on ATTACHED VERBS!

• We only attach objects to
• INFINITIVES! (ar, er, ir)
• GERUNDS! (ando, iendo, yendo)

Accents on the infinitive

• Always put the accent on the ending of the
  infinitive (ár, ér, ír)
• Example decírmelo (tell me it)
• Example jugárnosla (play it with us)
• Example comérselas (eat them with them)

Accents on the gerund

• Always put the accent on the gerund ending (ándo,
  iéndo, yéndo)
• Example hablándonoslo (telling us it)
• Example escribiéndonoslas (writing us those)
• Example trayéndosela (bringing them it)
